Trevor has 35 years in the retail industry where he has worked in the airline, wholesale and retail areas. He opened the office for CIT in He opened the office for CIT in Melbourne before opening Hawthorn Travel in 1983. Hawthorn Travel has been named "Office of the Year" for American Express three times, and Trevor has represented the Victorian / Tasmanian franchise offices for ten consecutive years. During that time, he was appointed to a worldwide Advisory Board for American Express in New York from 1994 -1998. Trevor was also inducted into the American Express "Hall of Fame" for services to the franchise network. In 2005, Trevor was elected to the Travelscene Board and subsequently continued on to the Travelscene Franchise Council.

Kevin has thirty years experience in the travel industry. He started as a coproprietor of Gippsland Travel in the Victorian country town of Warragul. After twelve months, he commenced as a Travel Consultant and in 1993, at the age of 25 years,established Andrew Jones Travel. The agency is now Tasmania's largest independent travel agency and is both a retail and corporate agency. In 1999 the agency joined the American Express Representative Network and in 2000 Andrew joined the American Express Advisory Board. Andrew Macfarlane joined Magellan Travel as General Manager commencing November 2008 reporting to The Board comprising Kevin Dale, Trevor Jones and Andrew Jones. He joined the travel industry in 1991 and held a succession of senior management roles with STA Travel, the world's largest student travel company, including Product, Marketing and Sales Director. In 2001 he was appointed Vice-President for STA Travel in Canada and was responsible for establishing a new business in that market and over three years built a successful business opening 7 new agencies with 30 employees in 4 cities across Canada. In 2004 he returned to Australia and joined Air New Zealand as Regional Manager Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Prior to joining Magellan he was GM Sales for Jetstar with responsibility for global sales and management of sales teams in Australia, Japan and SE Asia. He brings a strong understanding of the Australian and International Travel Industries, and the needs of suppliers and agents alike.
